The Vicious Cycle

A simple yet incredibly moving picture book about a unicycle who is stuck in a rut and a young girl whose connection gives it the courage to change, from two award-winning creators. Nobody rode the unicycle. It wasn’t very fun. It only went in a circle. Around, and around, and around, and around. So begins this arresting allegorical story about the ruts we dig ourselves into, how trusted friends can show their support by helping us see outside ourselves, and how the choice to leave those ruts and heal ourselves is ours alone. When a unicycle finds it difficult to leave the circle it has dug into the ground, a caring new friend helps it learn little by little that there's more to life than just what we know.
