I am in total agreement with the precis on the back cover, ′this is not just another book about research.′ Lee & Lings have not just rehashed old material, they have produced an up to date, pragmatic and hands-on research manual. Rather excited about this text ... written in laymans terms, so very ′international student′ friendly with poignant sections such as "Why is it important to know this stuff" through each chapter, and a very pragmatic ′theoretical world / Real world′ model which will help students understand and contextualise topics throughout chapters. Adding this to reading lists for students at both postgraduate and undergraduate level. It′s certainly different in terms of structure and makes an interesting read! -- Mrs Angela Sutherland * drupal *
