Frederick Dale Bruner Author

Frederick Dale Bruner (ThD, University of Hamburg) is the George and Lyda Wasson Professor of Religion Emeritus at Whitworth University. He is the author of several books, including The Letter to the Romans: A Short Commentary, The Gospel of John: A Commentary, Matthew: A Commentary: Volumes 1 and 2, and The Theology of the Holy Spirit. He previously served as a missionary in the Philippines, and he has spoken and taught at conferences, universities, and churches around the world for over 60 years. Michael Mears Bruner (PhD, Fuller Theological Seminary) previously taught practical theology at Azusa Pacific University. He is the award-winning author of A Gospel of Subversion: Flannery O’Connor and the Reimagining of Beauty, Goodness, and Truth. He is also an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
