Daidi Fan, professor and dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at Northwest University, Xi'an, China, and the fellow of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China. She received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 1994, was a visiting scientist at Biotechnology Process Engineering Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1999 to 2000. Her expertise covers recombinant collagen production, biomedical materials, and pharmaceutical and nutraceutical natural products. She has published over 240 scientific papers and 75 authorized invention patents.
Rongzhan Fu, associate professor at Northwest University in Xi'an, China. She received her Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from KAIST, Korea in 2010, and was working as a postdoc researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2011-2013. Her research focuses on biomedicine application of recombinant collagens and the development of biomedical materials, especially functional wound dressing materials.
Jing Zhao, associate professor at Northwest University in Xi'an, China. She received her Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore in 2014. Her research focuses on the synthesis and application of biomaterials, especially collagen-derived materials and synthetic polymers.
